Mr. Klopfenstine has developed these kilns over the past twenty years to be versatile,
lightweight, fast, and efficient. The Ultra Kiln is designed to enable you to fire up and to cool
down fast. You can get your painted work in and out in an hour and a half. It comes in two sizes.
The small kiln is 18x21x10 inches with inside dimensions of 16x19x6 inches. The large kiln is 24x36x10
inches and has an inside dimension of 22x34x6 inches. There is no need for a shelf in the Ultra Kiln.
The kilns are prefired to burn out the organic binders, so a kiln wash only needs to be applied about
twice a year depending on usage.
The small kiln weighs only 25lbs, pulls only 10 amps at 240 volts, and will go to 1200 degrees in 25 minutes.
The large kiln weighs only 50lbs and pulls only 20 amps at 240 volts.
